Budapest Noir

A gripping and meticulously researched World War II thriller. Set in the ominous and corrupt Budpest of 1936, it is the enthralling story of a Hungarian crime-journalist, Zsigmond Gordon, who uncovers a murder that everyone else in his soon-to-be Facist country wants to leave buried. The depravity and bleakness surrounding Gordon are all the more disturbing because of the reader's knowledge of the terrible things to come.
